Document anonymization removes names, addresses, ID and account numbers and any other detail that identifies a person. Our application does it in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF and scanned documents and returns the file in the same format. It can replace names with labels like [PERSON_1] and put them back into the AI answer.

Anonymized data can no longer be linked to a person, even with extra information, and under Recital 26 GDPR falls outside the regulation. Pseudonymization replaces details with labels and keeps the key separately; for whoever holds the key it remains personal data. On 4 September 2025 the Court of Justice held in C-413/23 P that pseudonymized data need not be personal data for a recipient with no reasonable means to re-identify. The application does both: irreversible black bars, or labels with a key that stays with you.
Four steps, each visible on screen:
A box drawn over text usually only covers it; the text stays in the file and can be copied. The application performs true PDF redaction and removes the text under the bar. Scans and photos are read by OCR on the server where the application runs, and Office formatting is kept because text is replaced inside the file's XML.

Yes, a language model that looks for names and addresses. In the on-premise version it runs on your server. In the trial it runs in the EU data zone; files are processed in memory only, never written to disk, and their content is not logged.
